15 years and counting :)

Ah how time just FLIES!  I can't believe that it's been 15 years since My darling sweetheart and I were kneeling across the altar from eachother making covenants with eachother and God.  What a difference those years have made.  I am more relaxed now, although we both have SO many more responsibilities...hopefully I have learned a few things, I certainly have more wrinkles, more grey hair, he has less hair (but bald men are sexy!) we have more debt, 4 1/2 kids to look after and raise....whew!  And I remember thinking back then how OLD I thought people who were the age I am now were...what a silly kid I was ;)
We were able to attend the temple the day before - exactly 15 years after we took out our own endowments.  What a sweet experience I was able to have there....I know that the Lord whispered to me to remember who I am - what my potential is - and that I am NOT just a cumulation of past mistakes.  I really needed to hear that, as I had had a VERY tough day on Friday.  As I sat through the session I couldn't help but think about the past 15 years...the fun times, the tough times, my mistakes, my triumphs...where we were back then as a couple and where we are now.  We've been through a lot together. Being together since we were teenagers has made it so that we have grown up together - we have experienced life together.  I have been SO blessed to have such a wonderful man placed into my life at just the right time.  The Lord knew how much I needed him then, and how much I need him now.  He is my everything...sounds trite, but I really do mean it.  We are inseparable, he and I,  I am NOT me without him.  I love him so much more now then I did back then.  Seems funny to say, but now my love for him is a much deeper, more devoted kind of love then 2 teenagers could even think of.
After our temple trip he took me out to dinner, we walked and held hands, made googlie eyes at eachother, and pretended we were young again.  Then on Sunday morning, Donsters woke up at 4, I went in and got him back to sleep but Trent was up for the day.  He let me go back to sleep...I woke up a few hours later to the smell of bacon, hashbrowns with ham, and pancakes cooking, with a fresh fruit smoothie to drink, and a fresh bouquet of flowers that he had picked and arranged himself (couldn't have been more beautiful!!).  He is SO thoughtful!  He then had to run to take Pierce up to the nursing home to administer the sacrament.  As I then went to get myself and the other kids ready I found the most touching letter that Trent had spent hours writing to me.  It brought me to tears...he is SO sweet!
After he got back I was able to give him my meager card and gift...he just beamed - he is SO cute!  I was sad that Monday morning had to come SO fast.  I miss him while he is at work and can't wait for him to get home so I can spend more time with him.  If this is what eternity is like, then I'm excited!

Halfway there :)

Here I am - 20 weeks along now.  I can't say that's its gone by really fast OR slow...its just going.  I've only been into the doctor 2 times now, and this last time was a TOTAL disappointment.  I really wish Tooele had better doctors.  If I could bring my old OB from Ogden I'd do it in a heartbeat!

We spent this last weekend car shopping - again.  HATE it.  I really don't want to sell my truck, but since we can't all fit into it - I'll have to sell it.  We found and bought a REALLY nice B U S....okay - it's not a bus, but that's what Donsters calls it.  It's an Excursion - super nice- leather, heated seats, dvd player, tinted windows and plenty of room for everyone.  I'm really sad to see my truck go - it's the 1st car that we were able to buy that I wanted.  Oh well - guess I've got to give some things up :)

So far I've already gained 12 pounds....yuck - with at least 5 or more that has gone straight to my hips...seriously - WHY does my body think I need to pad more fat onto my hips???  I've been SO much better this pregnancy with exercising than I have ever been - and yet...plop - there's the fat!!  I can whine about it all day long - but...I'll just have to run it back off in the spring.  At least the baby is healthy and strong.  Last night as we were relaxing on the couch with the kids I was sitting there watching my stomach move with every kick and wiggle.  It's kind of fun :)

My in-laws (mother and sister) are driving me nuts about a name.  Trent keeps telling them that we are going to name him Renauldus Magnus....just to see them throw a fit.  Then he tells them Nixon...just bc my mil HATES that guy.  I really have NO CLUE what we are going to name him...I've run out of boy names.  And we've got ourselves stuck with needing a name ending with an n - since all of the other kids' names do.  Guess I've got to go onto those baby naming sites and start looking around.  Who knows - it might just take me another 20 weeks to find something that we BOTH like....

Here's my 20 week pic...I'm here with just Donsters so I took it myself.  Not the best, but you can see the bump.  Getting bigger daily :)
