Sista visit

We were able to go and visit my sister yesterday - we had a great time!  Maddie wants to go again today - she LOVED being with her girl cousins, and really LOVED getting their old dresses and toys.  They gave her a barbie doll that is as tall as she is.  She just LOVES it!  She has had it by her side since she got it - she even slept with it.  She has decided that it is her sister - today she dressed it in one of her dresses and is busy doing its hair. 
They also have ferrets - 4 of them.  Maddie spent much of the day holding them (all at once) and chasing them around.  They also have a parrot - he isn't as nice.  Poor little Donsters went over to it's cage and ended up being bit on his finger.  From that point on he was more cautious with the other pets.
It's so interesting to sit and visit and talk about what we remember about growing up.  I feel guilty because my sis sent me home with a carload of clothing and toys that she had been saving for me - but it makes both of us feel better if we can put her older things to use rather than just dropping them off at the DI.  Maddie has already worn one of the dresses that she got, it makes her feel like a princess.  She's already asked me at least 20 times today if we can go back :)
I'll have to take some pictures of her and her new 'sister' as soon as I find the charger for the camera (wish me luck!)
