Whirlwind

What a weekend.  My boys really do love their flag football, but it sure makes for a full weekend!  Jaxton got his first touch down on Saturday - he has some really great hip action!  Trent and I went on a new route Saturday.  It ended up not being as good of a run as we had thought.  Donavan wouldn't take a nap so we ended up taking him in the jogger - only to get 1/3 of the way through with 2 flat back tires.  We decided to push through anyway.  Trent was just dying pushing him with the flats - it was a really hilly run.  We also ran into so many loose dogs I don't think we will do that one again.  What is with people?  They have fences with no gates and they let their dogs run loose.  We even had one that was out with his owner who just about bit me - the owner didn't do a thing about it!  I'm going to buy some pepper spray so if another dog comes close I'll spray them down.  (Sorry to any dog lovers out there!)  If the owner doesn't want their dogs pepper sprayed maybe they should put them on a leash or behind a closed fence!!

Sunday was busy also - with church, choir practice, bishop's chat, and all of Trent's meetings with the young men.  We also had a nice head butting incident during sacrament, and Donavan somehow wiggled out of his pants.  Donavan has also figured out how to get a reaction out of the ladies during relief society so he just hams it up for them.  He is the biggest flirt!  I don't think that anyone around us is able to pay attention to the lessons.   Don't ya just LOVE kids!?!
My camera and camcorder are both broken, so I can't add any new pictures until we get a new one.  I'm really thinking about getting a new Cannon - I'm going to do my homework on them 1st before I spend a ton of money.  I would like something better than the regular point and shoot cameras that are a dime a dozen.  I love to take pictures of the kids and it is hard with a cheap camera to get the kind of pictures that I want.  I've got a HUGE load of laundry, a dirty kitchen, my room is now a disaster, I still can't park in the garage, I need to go and buy new milk, I've got to finish my visiting teaching, I've got to get going on my part of pack meeting I'm supposed to plan before Thursday, and they are all calling to me, but I am doing my very best to ignore it---ahh I love Mondays!

  2. I only run with the stroller if there is no wind...and you know Tooele, there is almost always a wind!! I don't go very fast with them, but I figure it helps tone my arms too (I hope!) I'm sure that once the kids are all grown up I'll miss the craziness of it all - but for now I guess I'll just have to figure out how to keep breathing and try to keep up!!
